Still life of fruit, a carafe and glass of port and a tumbler of cigars. Composed with the Church characteristic inside/outside view and painted with his faux graining and Greek key motif.

Henry Church is best known for his iconic folk art painting, "The Monkey Picture" at Colonial Williamsburg's Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum.

Condition: Excellent. Frame has old loss to lower right.
